The DFP 406 is a compact Dot and Density measuring instrument. It provides both reflection (plate) and transmission (film) dot measurements using Yule-Nielsen easy to program N correction factor. With high accuracy it measures the dot area of lithographic plates regardless of graining, contrast and color because of sophisticated multidirectional reading optical system, detector sensitivity and high resolution: unique 10.00 divisions between the printing and the non-printing parts of the surface. The DFP 406 is the best for polyester silver based plates and for all type of aluminum plates. Reflection Density function is provided to check plate exposure and development.

One of the smallest portable gloss-measuring devices ever designed. EN ISO 2813, DIN 67 530, ISO 7668 e ASTM D 523. It measures gloss using a standard 60° angle, the angle requested in the paper industry: printing, packaging, overprint coatings and related applications. PICOGLOSS is microprocessor controlled and has instead of usual filament lamp a power saving and extreme long lasting LED. The measured values can be transferred by USB interface to a PC. Measuring range: 0 – 1999 gloss units with automatic changeover at 150 gloss units. Calibration is fast and simple with only one calibration standard. LCD display also shows messages. Complete with high-gloss standard, battery (round cell LR03), USB cable, lens cloth, operating instructions and elegant carrying case.
